Where are you located?
Blau is nestled in Sant Martí, a former industrial area now revitalized with a mix of modern buildings and repurposed 19th- and 20th-century factories turned into bars, restaurants, and homes. With two tram lines, two metro stations, several bus stops and the soon-to-open La Sagrera train station—Spain's largest—we’re perfectly connected to the rest of the city.
Do I need to be a student?
No, our residence is open to anyone joining our language academy programs — from travelers to digital nomads and professionals. Many of our residents are university students, but we also welcome travelers, digital nomads, and professionals who want to improve their Spanish while living in Barcelona.
Are there any hidden fees?
At Blau, included in your package you have your room, your classes, all utilities, access to all our amenities, extras like yoga classes and movie nights, high-speed wifi, and a weekly room cleaning. You are not hit with any hidden costs. Extra services like parking, extra classes, and more can be contracted for reasonable prices.
What about security?
Safety, as cliché as it may sound, is our absolute top priority. We have cameras throughout the establishment, mobile digital keys which prevent cards from being lost or misused, security guards, safes, and we are always staffed. The neighborhood is also one of the city’s safest.
